Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean : Curse of the Black Pearl.
I've been working on this for so long now, it must be close to a month... I was so bored of it in the end, I rushed the last parts. I suppose I'll regret that and work more on it later, but right now, I'm just so glad I'm done with it.
I used a reference photo, of course. I took some liberties so I didn't need to go so dark with it. Size 26,5 X 25 cm, pencils 2H-3B, finished 27.10-04
Edit 01. August -06: Lets see if this scan looks more like the original than the photo of the drawing I used to have here.
it looks great to me
I might suggest outlining the pinkey a little bit though, it's light and blends in with the white-ness
however the detail (otherwise) on the hands, eyes and particularly the hat, are very nice!
Pinkey. That's the uhh... steering weel right? *looking very silly* My sister ran off with the dictionary.
If it is, that's the area I rushed and probably will do over again. I get your point, it's too light.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
