--- *Ahem*  I blame this for being under the influence of... dA...I got a bit carried away yesterday. Thinking about how I was greatful to have some real TV to look at, when I'm all fatiqued and sofa-laying in the middle of the day. Right now it's Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch" that's on. Just for fun I searched the title on dA... And got lots of hits! Seems like the series is far more popular than I had imagined  And somehow I went from that, to drawing this.Took me a day from thought to completion. Four-five hours of actual drawing. Various reference photos found online. Size 27 x 18 cm, pencils 2H to 3B EDIT September 15: Did some more work on it, and a much better scan. Acutally looks slightly like the original now. |
