My first Star Wars drawing ever...
This is Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan. I have absolutely no idea what I was thinking about when I did this sketch. I started with the eyes, and did them as dark as I could with a H and HB pencil, then shaded the face veery lightly, mostly 2H. The paper is really smooth, with almost no tooth at all. Drawn from a reference I found on the internet somewhere. Aprox A5, pencils 2H to HB, 2B for the backgound. Finished 10.11-04 Star Wars (c) George Lucas Edit May 2008: Much better scan |

I really love the detail...you can probably go a little bit furhter in shading though, bring out more values on his face. It depends on the reference picture, but his face looks a tiny bit flat without as much shading. Other than that, wooha!
