Faramir from Lord of the Rings.
Nothing to say, really, I tried to be as photorealistic as I could. Finished it in february -04, when I really wasn't allowed to draw because of a tendon inflammation in my drawing hand.

Size less than A4, pencils 2H - 2B, Finished: 09.02-04

Absolutely gorgeous.
I love the detail put into this, and crap, all of that wonderful shading must have hurt with the tendon all inflaming!
He really does look like David Weinham too, so that rules all.
....this is just plain sex.

Ohhhh tendon inflamation!! Nasty buisness!! X( You seem to have recovered rather nicely though ^^ These draws look great ^^ You draw from a pic? Or is alot of it from head? With the contrast and textures used here I'm betting that you're a student ^^ (or something after that? *shrug* )

Tendon inflammation is devil because nothing seems to help on it. Believe me, I've tried most things, and I still have it...
I did have a reference photo, yes. I tried praticing photo realism a bit with it, and then you'll need a reference.
And Oh, no, I'm not an art student or anything worse than that, it's plain hobby and self-taught. :)
